Funny Story

Postby texas butterfly » Mon Aug 31, 2009 7:52 pm

I went to a Garden Center about a mile south from my house this weekend to get more salad for my cats. They say they don't use pesticides so this seems to be a good source so far. I've had good luck with them.

Anyway, I spoke to the horticulturist about butterfly nectar and hosts plants. So, the topic of butterflies came up.

He said "the garden center has been getting an unusual amount of butterflies lately".

I just smiled..... not saying anything.....

He then added "We even found a Monarch Watch butterfly and called it into Kansas University".

I smiled again......

I figured out where my butterfly releases are going.

I did let him in on the secret and the butterflies were probably ones that I had raised.

I had released 36 Monarch butterflies the week in question.

So, paint the world with butterflies. And spread the story of the butterfly.

You never know who will see a butterfly and how the butterfly may change their day.

Or, who you will meet due to someone finding your tagged butterfly. :cheesy:

Will they give you any discounts now?
