My son's Kindergarten teacher had a fabulous, easy project for them to reinforce the life cycle. She had them cut out a large circle from any color contruction paper. They drew a large X completely across (a cross would do as well) to separate the circle into 4 quarters. In one section they drew a leaf and made little dots on it to signify the eggs. On the next they drew leaf and then first colored and then glued a piece of corkscrew (rotinit) pasta to signify the catepillar. On the third they drew the pupa and on the forth they first colored and then glued a piece of bow tie pasta to signify the butterfly. They were cute, easy, fun and really reinforced the cycle!
