This got national coverage.
He's already created two Waystations and inspired a park to create a third.

We need more kids like Ben. Except where's he getting those Monarch eggs with 6 caterpillars in them. :wink:

That's a really cool story! I live in New York but in my area it seems they aren't very concerned about wildlife much. :( The local Park by me used to be full of Common milkweed and visited by many monarchs, but they eradicated all the milkweed for grass....

I was able this year to collect some seeds of the common milkweed in an area, which is a gas line right of way. Within a few days of collecting, the rest were mowed to pieces. I'm hoping to get more common milkweed started from seeds. More and more habitat where I live is being converted to shopping centers, office complexes, and subdivision. :frown:
