I released the RSP this morning. She laid pale green eggs on the tip of the willow leaves.
But, seems I am collecting more flies than butterflies in the trap.
I carry a net in my car. If you can net the moth, verify that it is a female, then you can put them into a large paper bag and collect eggs. I only keep them 2-3 days and then I let them go. You can leave the eggs on the paper and just cut them out into small pieces and place them into a plastic container. Once they start hatching they disperse and they must be contained.
