Shortage of tags in 2007?

Postby Lindabird » Sat Jul 21, 2007 1:01 am

Do you know if there is going to be a shortage of tags this year like there was last year?

I'm waiting to order because I haven't seen a Monarch (until today) in my yard for weeks, therefore...no eggs!

I'm hoping it picks up soon, but hate to order too many. I think I ordered at least 250 last year and thought I would get more this year, but now I don't know what to do.

What do you think?

I don't know the answer to your question Linda, but I've been curious myself. I ordered 50 just over a week ago for my small operation I enjoy with my children. I've been wondering when they'll arrive and hoping they're not sold out.

We do still have tags; however, we have fewer ramaining than at this time last year so I can pretty much guarantee that we will sell out again - the only question is how soon.

Rest assured, if you have ordered tags already you will reveive them (we've sent a bunch out already and will continue to mail them out as fast as we can). If you have not yet ordered tags for this season I recommend doing so as soon as possible so that you don't miss out. As you know, once they're gone we won't have more until next season.

We have new tags manufactured each year and ask that you do not use old tags due to the fact that the adhesive has a shelf life of about one year.

Happy Tagging!
