Recovered Tag

Postby Orangeaid » Thu Jul 19, 2007 1:38 pm

Iam pretty excited to say that for the 1st time in 3 years of tagging one of my tags was recovered in Sierra Chincua Mexico. I released the reared male Monarch on 9/2/06 and he was recovered in February 2007. I feel blessed that out of only 600 or so recoveries one of my Monarchs was among them. I give the little guy a lot of credit . He travelled over 2000 miles all the way from the Jersey shore and reached his destination. Hopefully i will have some of his decendants visit my gardens this year.
