Downloading info

Jim,
I don't mean to ask a dumb question BUT -- I want to participate in the Temp Monitor Program but have a couple of concerns.

The location I have in mind for my device is on a public area. I do have permission from the "powers that be" for placing it here.

The other concern: My husband and I are not home during the summer - we do come back to mow lawn and pay bills, etc - how often does the download of data need to be done?

As I said, I probably should read somewhere to get the answer for these concerns/questions but am using the forum anyway.

Thanks for all you do for us and for our Monarchs.

As far as the public area is concerned, as long as it isn't out in the open the logger shouldn't attract too much attention, if that's what you're worried about.

The loggers can collect hourly data for more than 80 days before rolling over (overwriting the oldest data) or needing to be reset. So, depending on the program, you may only need to download data once every 10-12 weeks or so.
