What an adventure

Postby deerfarmer17 » Tue Oct 03, 2006 7:10 pm

My second grader and I just reared, watched and set free a Monarch, that was in our care for the last 3 weeks. It has been AMAZING to say the least. Yesterday we released him at my son's school with about 20 second graders yelling "BYE-BYE" and waving as he soared in the warm breeze above the school and away on His journey. Truly this is a miracle of creation and we will never forget it. I can't wait for the migration back north, we are in WI, so we can hopefully do this again. Thanks to all of you who make this experience possible for us. I have pictures but am not sure how to use this forum. :D
