Silly questions(?)

Postby RozieMozie » Mon Sep 11, 2006 1:01 pm

im new to tagging and know im too late to tag this yr ... though i would like to tag next yr

some quick questions tht may be silly

if im unable to use up all the tags i get in 2007, could i use them in 2008?

how would i report when and where i tagged?

how would i report a tagged butterfly tht i may find?
do i report live and dead?, and how would i indicate the difference if i needed to?

We prefer you do not use tags issued in previous years - partly due to the fact that the adhesive has a shelf life of about a year.

Datasheets are included in each tagging kit (and available online as well) as are complete instructions.

Each tag includes an email address and a telephone number you can use to report a tag sighting. If a tagged monarch is spotted alive you should make not of it and release the butterfly to continue its journey.

Hope this helps!
