Urgent, Milkweed Needed in Duluth, MN

Postby Mona Miller » Sat Jun 23, 2012 2:31 pm

My sister who lives in Hoyt Lakes, MN is raising about 25 caterpillars and she only had two plants of Swamp milkweed and she has run out of milkweed. She lives 50 miles northwest of Duluth, MN. There have been floods in the area. She found some milkweed but it was all under water. She couldn't get to it. She is 85 and just had heart surgery and she is just beside herself that she is out of food for them. Is there a waystation or any place anyone knows of where she could get some milkweed. I told her I could mail her some but she wouldn't get it until Tuesday. They need the food today. She is beside herself having run out of food for her "babies." Thanks.
