Still waiting

Postby blossom » Wed Jun 20, 2012 9:35 am

We are in southwestern CT, near Bridgeport, and are still waiting for the great migration to arrive. Our milkweed patch is thriving and is enjoyed by many other butterflies and bees, but the monarchs are absent. We're heading into a few days of hot weather with winds from the southwest, so we're hoping that will send some our way. Has anyone else in Fairfield County been visited yet? how about Long Island?

You can also check on Journey North.

These are all drop down lists. Just select the category and the time frame. Use 30 days, nothing on the 14 days. And I used Monarch first sighting, but you can also look for caterpillars and eggs, too.

05/31/12 West Haven CT 41.27 -72.97
05/31/12 West Haven CT 41.27 -72.97
05/31/12 New London CT 41.35 -72.11

If you go into the listing, you can email the person who posted it.

I clicked on the date:
