Look around for a fly pupa. They are a bit hard to find because they are so tiny. That may have caused the pupa to break and ooze.
After they have hardened a good 2 days, spray them with water. Wait about 10 seconds. The silk will loosen, carefully pull them off what they are attached to. If they don't come easily, spray them again with water. If they are that close, they will come off together. Carefully take some scissors and cut them apart, make sure you leave enough silk on each. I usually take a stick pin and then put though the silk (not the cremaster or pupa), and then you can pin them up. I use a net container so that if they fall they will have a chance to climb back up. I weave the stick pin in and out and leaving the sharp point on the outside of the container. I place the stick pin in a downward position so the pupa will not slide off.
