At what point do we receive updates as to the status of the population at the winter site? I've been looking around the web and see someone posted that they haven't seen such a large migration in Mexico in years. That doesn't seem realistic to me. Anyone have any other news?

Just keep your fingers crossed. The numbers have been going down and only up a little. Some people saw very few Monarchs this year. Others saw plenty.

So far, it looks like this is going to be a good year for Monarchs in CA and Mexico. I can't wait for the final head count in Mexico.
