Yellow-striped armyworm

If someone gave you a plant she was told was swamp milkweed and you did not find any monarchs on it all summer but today found a yellow-striped armyworm (Spodoptera ornithogalli), would you suspect that it is not milkweed?

OK, thanks.

Did you feel the quake? I sure did.

Yes, I did feel the quake. It was like a 747 going over my house. I could hear the roar and my house was rocking and rolling for a good 30 seconds. I did not know what was going on. I'm near Dulles Airport so I thought a plane was about to crash right into my house.
