Is this a Monarch Egg?..I'm a newbie

Hi everyone...Can you tell me if this is a Monarch egg I found on a milkweed plant? I am new to this and have never seen one before :oops:

It does look like a Monarch egg on milkweed. Are you planning to take it off and rear it?
