finally found some cats!

Postby NickiM » Tue Jul 26, 2011 4:08 pm

I found 3 Monarch cats Sunday afternoon, and then one more yesterday. I was thinking I'd usually found them before this, but I checked my notes from last year, and this is quite a bit earlier. Just goes to show, I definitely need to write things down!

I need to write things down and then I need to make sure I put the notebook where I can find it. We haven't seen any wild Monarchs for about a month. But, I did release some adults this week.

I store all my butterfly supplies--plastic containers, etc.--in the large plastic storage box where I hang all the chyrsalisses. So, I put my notes in the same box.

I didn't see the female who layed these eggs, but I'm glad she stopped by.
