Video is quite blurry but it sorta looks like it might be a type of Blue Mist Spirea shrub, Caryopteris. There are different species and cultivars available.

I just recently purchased a few of the Caryopteris x clandonensis, First Choice cultivar. I am trying to find some good butterfly attracting xeric plants for a very sunny/hot/dry spot in the yard and this looked like it might do well.

Ordered mine from high country gardens. Hope to be getting them later in the week.

Does anyone know the common and scientific name so I can try to find one at a nursery? Thanks

If you look down in the comments, it says that it is lavender.

Unfortunately, I remember things too clearly.

That doesn't look like lavender to me.

My first thought was Russian Sage but then I just Googled "lavender bush" and looked at the images and I'd agree that it's lavender. I've never had it grow very well for me but many of the images look just like the bush in the video.

The secret is a raised mound to maintain well drain soil. I also place them near large rocks for winter protection. Be careful about the time you prune. Only prune during the growing season. And, how far back you prune. Only prune back to where there is growth (green leaves) not stems (brown).
