I'm trying to save some swamp milkweed seeds and hope the Pipeline people don't cut the field near me so that I can get the seeds there.

I'm thinking there must be a market for that floss.

The amount that he's got there? For sure!
At my house, DD's want to use the milkweed floss, as well as cotton that we're growing this year, for stuffing hand sewn toys. :wink:

I remember that one DD = Darling Daughter. My daughter used to make her own stuffed toys, too.

Supposedly, it was used to stuff mattresses and that is why it is found all over the place. You can't get all of the seeds out of the floss.

I"d heard that it was used for pillows, but I didn't realize there were other uses for the plant.
