I've been trying to find monarchs roosting in the rain, with no luck. I was wondering if anyone has photographed these mysterious butterfly hideouts? I've found a couple butterflies in the rain, sulphers and a monarch or two, but they were always in the grass in a very pathetic state. I've never found them in trees, even when I know that right before rain, there must be hundreds of monarchs in a given area. Are they on the undersides of branches, or further inside the trees? Ahh well..
