Busy summer...

Well, since last Thursday, the 24th of June, there have been monarchs in our waystation every day. They are all very large and most pretty fresh. We have now collected over 200 eggs in the yard and over 50 in the wild. Our fist "J" occurred last evening with several expected in the next couple of days.

Our current running tally, only 11 days since the first egg, is 105 eggs and 150 cats.

As of 6:15 this morning, a female was already nectaring in the yard, so I expect the tally to jump again today. It looks like we might surpass our 1000 goal this year if this keeps up.
