No monarchs or eggs so far.

So far on the southern NJ coast we have not spotted 1 monarch this year. I definately am getting worried that i will not see any around here until late summer. I have visited several large wild milkweed fields this year and have not even seen one leaf munched on by a monarch cat. All this milkweed and not one cat to enjoy it . I have 50 plants in the yard this year and not one egg or cat so far and the plants are already 3 ft tall in full bloom. I will post if i see any real activity going on.

THEY Are finally here . I have approx 70 1st instar cats and another 30 eggs waiting to develop. Hopefully this continues through the summer but well see what happens . I will note any changes or lulls in the egg collecting dept because there usually is one at some point.
