mid Ark: First Monarch sighting plus many eggs laid today!

North Little Rock AR, April 12, 2010:

A lovely female visited my garden mid day, leaving quite a few eggs. She touched lots of plants, looking for just the perfect nurseries for her babies. So far, I've found eggs on tropical and swamp milkweed plants. Such a wonderful sight to see. She looked healthy and spent quite a bit of time flitting about. Woo hoo, going to be a glorious spring.
