I am running out of food. Any way to get more or make more? Thank you.

Hi!

I have already contacted the order dept. at Monarch Watch but haven't heard back. I brought our larva home for Thanksgiving break, and my husband accidentally threw away the food. I've called local greenhouses, conservatories, and Brookfield Zoo to try and get my hands on some milkweed. No return calls yet - can I order more?? Can't sit and watch them shrivel... (at least not without trying...)

not sure if this will help this time of year, but in the summer my cats love eating the pods and all. i know here in milwaukee wi, I can find pods out there. if nothing else, you could try that.

I have been diluting the heck out of it, trying to stretch it, even reconstituting the stuff that dries out overnight.

I am curious to know whether the monarchs on the ISS are eating. I only see one photo of a butterfly by the food source, and it doesn't look like it's eating even in that one.
