milkweed growth in part shade

Hi all-

I have an east-facing balcony that gets about 7 hours of direct sun. What milkweeds do well with that?

Monarch Watch Plant Fundraiser

Most milkweeds require about 6 hours of sun so just about any you can get your hands on should do just fine. Six varieties are included in our Monarch Waystation Seed Kits:

http://www.monarchwatch.org/ws/seed_kit.html

but since you are so close to Lawrence you might be interested in stopping by our annual Plant Fundraiser / Open House on Saturday, May 13th where we will have lots of milkweed plants in addition to good general nectar plants available. Additional information about this event will be sent in our monthly newsletters:

http://www.monarchwatch.org/update/

and will also be available online at

http://www.monarchwatch.org/openhouse/ - right now this page has information from our last Open House, in September.

Hope to see you there! :cheesy:
