honeycomb butterfly bush

I got a large honeycomb butterfly bush in the fall. It was donated to me from a local garden center. I planted it in late September at my work. i went out to check on it today and noticed it is in a very low area with standing water all around it. It was been raining here in record numbers this month and is not letting up in the next few days. I know they do not like soggy roots. I do not see any new growth on it yet, but I know it is still early. Do you think I should move it to an area with better drainage now, wait until the rain lets up a little and see if the standing water recedes, or just leave it and see what happens? I know this type of butterfly bush is not very common, so i do not want to lose this one. I hope i am not too late. I think they are pretty hardy. Any advice is welcomed. Thanks.

Honeycomb (Buddleja x weyeriana) is pretty common in my area. It is a variety that doesn't seed as much as the Buddleja davidii. I would recommend moving it, if the area where it is planted has standing water for long periods of time.
