Scarlet Milkweed (Asclepias curassavica) seeds available

Postby Bunny Jo » Thu May 14, 2009 9:31 pm

The seed pods on several of my milkweed plants in my garden have split open and I have seeds available for anyone who needs some. I continue to have a lot of activity in the garden--have had quite a few successful emergings take place--most of which were females. Lots of baby cats on the plants--some eggs just laid 2 days ago. Have one chrysalis on my plumbago bush next to the garden--should emerge in a few days. Trying to keep all the plants watered as we've had really dry weather here. Finally getting some rain.

Also, there are live Aslecpias curassavica plants available from www.livemonarch.com. Here's the link directly to that page: http://www.livemonarch.com/store_plants.php They don't use any pesticides. I bought 30 of them to get a jump-start for .95 each. They sent a few extra and a packet of seeds.

A couple weeks ago I made a purchase from this vendor. I received the shipment in good time and in good shape. The plants are in pots and doing well.
