Milkweed seed

Postby Marian » Wed Oct 06, 2004 11:54 pm

I have excess Milkweed seed and will send to anyone for a SASE. This seed can be sow anytime, even in the winter in the north, and will grow easily. Milkweed comes back every year, usually thicker than ever and iin places you wish it wouldn't grow.
I always leave it grow if there are Monarch Eggs on it. I only pull it first thing in the spring or late in the fall, when I know there are no eggs or caterpillars on it.
If you need common Milkweed seed, just send a self addressed, stamped envelope to Wonders of Nature

I'll be happy to pass seeds around. Marian
