Boys will be boys

I released two healthy ,beautiful male monarchs today. They flew all over my garden in typical erratic monarch fashion. After stopping on the butterfly bush to grab something to eat..they proceeded to dive bomb each other and fly together as if the were wrestling! I am guessing they are territorial??? I am hoping one (or both) will attract a female so I can collect more eggs. :)

I collected over 20 eggs yesterday. I couldnt help myself, there were so many predators in the patch. I have not had much luck with eggs. Poor things would have been better off if I had left them!

Congratulations on your two newest arrivals!
