First Monarch Release

Postby GBMonarch » Mon Jul 17, 2006 7:45 am

I let my first Monarch go yesterday! What a thrill to come out and see her hanging onto her chrysalis yesterday morning. She was beautiful!
I waited till she was good and dry and doing test runs around the butterfly tent before I let her go in the afternoon. She flitted away, happy and healthy. I just felt good all day!

Thanks for all your help, now I have 13 left and one just turned transparent this morning. I also have 2 tiny little catepillars in one container and 5 big munching ones in another. Here's hoping they all turn out healthy.
