Yesterday's flight was unsuccessful. I was hoping someone would write to tell me what to do about the liquid but today's flight took care of that. The butterfly went plop on the ground and the liquid came out. We've had weeks of rainy weather so I'm hoping tomorrow we can try another test flight. Meanwhile, my count on chrysalis is 42 and rising with monarchs being "born" every day.
By the way, this butterfly doesn't have any color on tips of the wings, about 1/2 inch wide. Anybody know why this happens?
