Are Cats fussy eaters?

Postby cmason » Sun May 20, 2012 3:10 pm

I found some eggs on a butterfly flower called Cinderella (asclepias). Do I still have to feed the catepillars on those leaves or will they survive on common milkweed?

This is a type of milkweed. Momma wouldn't lay them on the wrong plant!

Common milkweed will be fine for the little caterpillars. The earlier you introduce a new species the better. Cinderella is just a name brand for Swamp milkweed (Asclepias incarnata).
