Save your trash

Postby skates4marty » Fri Sep 03, 2010 12:31 pm

Hi Folks

I toss all the cage trash (old, half-eaten milkweed leaves and stems, plus the papers or paper towels that were underneath), into a paper bag that I keep for a week or so. Then I dump it out and check all the leaves again. I usually find at least one little caterpillar that I mistakenly threw away but which is now big enough to see.

I ended up triple checking leaves before I toss them. Thanks. This is important information.
