hatching chrysalis

Postby wenderwomn@aol.com » Sun Aug 29, 2010 1:01 pm

Had 2 chrysalis that turned black around the same time at 4am this morning. One hatched at 10:30 this morning with no problems. The 2nd one still has not hatched, color looks good, seems to be in position and put drop of water on top of chrysalis and still has not hatched. Appears to have a crack down the side and rear seems to be at the bottom and still not hatched.

Can you help?

Thank you

I'd spray it again carefully with a spray bottle of water or mister. Wait, it still may come out. Not too much water, just lightly.
