Doing ok, tagged 4. Have 18 chrysalides, A little over 100 in one stage or another.Am happy-hoped to tag 100 this year. Saw monarchs mating in flight 1st time ever,pretty neat. He was the one flapping and carrying her . Egg laying seems to be tapering off. David :D

They usually stay attached for 24 hours. He nectars and she hangs, but he's giving her some nutrition, too. Some times I've seen them nectaring liatris and she is able to get some food, too since the liatris has a nice straight stem.
