Another female was out today laying eggs. Now, I have a range from 5th to egg. I think by this weekend I'll finally have some pupae. :cheesy: There are two males patrolling.

I had early eggs - released number 45 today and have 55 chrysalis - might take the rest of the summer off after 100 - I don't trust anyone with my babies - and did five years without a break - not tuff enough like some of you hard cores(thanks for you're efforts) Fishslime

I have 25 chrysalis and just had a female laying more eggs today. This was supposed to be a slow season but it is turning out to be my busiest. I need to order more tags which is a good thing :)

There's been a laying frenzy here too. Multiple eggs on every stem of milkweed. There are still may predators out there. I saw yellow jackets flying low over a grassy area a couple of days ago. They attack and egg monarch caterpillars.
