Does the red-headed bush tree cricket prey on monarch eggs? ( I tried to paste the photo from bugguide.net but I don't know if I was successful.) How about harvestman(granddaddy longlegs), are they bad?(Do they prey on cats or eggs?) My garden is full of both,on my milkweeds. Thanks,David

Food
Crickets are omnivores and scavengers feeding on organic materials, as well as decaying plant material, fungi, and seedling plants.

Harvestmen, Daddy-long-legs, order Opiliones
Last paragraph:
"As for their eating habits, adults usually hide during the day and begin foraging at twilight. They're generally carnivorous, feeding on live invertebrate prey. Some species prefer to dine on dead animals or juices from plants, fruits and veggies."
Mona's Note: I saw one dragging off a dead earth worm.
