Get ready Wisconsin!

Saw my first Monarch today and I'm so happy! No eggs yet, but I was just glad to see a survivor after hearing about what a rough year it was for the poor butterflies. My milkweed is hearty and healthy and I'm ready for them, I just hope this is the start of many more. For the record there have been Yellow Swallowtails, Painted Ladies and many Red Admirals sighted in my garden, but the elusive Monarch waited until today. I'm washing my cages today and keeping my fingers crossed for a good summer for us all.
