Very dark cat

I know cats often are paler when it's been hot, and darker when it's been cold, but I found this guy during normal end of summer temps. Pretty darn dark, yes?

Hmm... interesting. I don't think mine looks "dirty" like hers do -- hers look like they've been smudged with ashes. I will try to keep better track next time of dark cats, see if they eclose normally.
