As much as I carefully look for eggs and cats--it always surprises me when a fifth instar is still chomping on a plant. Great year, I've got 20 1ast instars and 20 eggs pus 10 cats of various sizes and 5 chrystalisis.

That's great news. I found 8 - fifth instars in Buffalo Creek in the spring. My friend told me they were probably going to be parasitized and not to be shocked/sad if this was the case. They all, but one, emerged healthy. I hope you have the same success. They're much easier to raise when you find them at that stage. :)
