Question about nectar container

Postby mchrissspx » Tue Nov 17, 2009 4:39 pm

We have our caterpillars and are following the space project...I have raised MANY monarchs each fall with my students, but I'm not sure what the nectar container is for in raising the caterpillars..? I'm assuming it's for the butterflies...just want to make sure we weren't doing anything wrong in the project!! Please advise! *I am SO grateful to be a part of this amazing, authentic learning experience!

As I read it, the nectar IS for the butterflies when they emerge. I think we just set everything up, so our containers mimic those on the ISS as closely as possible.
