On Saturday September 3 (2005) I found a bunch of caterpillars. I always forget to count the things, but it was about 8. This is really, really late for this area. I will have to work hard to give them a fighting chance.
I also had several butterflies emerge from my yard. Well, one for sure, and at least a couple of others that I suspect were from my yard that turned up this weekend. One of them had slightly misformed wings, but it might make it.
