my own tagged butterflies in my back yard.

Hello,
My name is Katherine and I am a new registered member.

I live in Tampa, Florida. I'm not sure if anyone wants this information, but I found it interesting. Maybe you know someone I should forward it too.
On Dec 19th 2004 I tagged a male monarch on the day he emerged, and yesterday Jan 1st 2005 I found him flying around in my garden. It's the first time I've seen one of my own tagged butterflies in my back yard. I now have many monarchs in all stages in my yard right now. I take it from this that Florida monarchs do not migrate. I would love to hear form other Florida people.
