Great year Northwest of Houston

This has been the great fall for spotting monarchs in my yard. I am afraid it may be because my milkweed is one of the few clumps in the neighborhood after our brutal summer. Constant population of vigorous caterpillars for the past month. Today there about 60 + of varying maturity. What a show!
