Went to get more milkweed for my inside cats.
Checked milkweed and many leaves had eggs and some of them had two eggs.
Was about 20 eggs.
Observed a Monarch laying more eggs this morning.
Either egg dumping or my yard is the only place for viable milkweed.
I'll have to plant much more milkweed next year.
As I'm removing eaten milkweed from cats, I'm sticking the cuttings in soil and many of them are rooting. So, hopefully these cuttings will support several cats in the next few weeks.
Also weather reports that it will be in the mid-60s here next week in the mornings.
Also seeing lots of migrating hummingbirds.
