Glad you are finding eggs.
I had a run on eggs for about a couple of weeks. Not seeing in any new eggs now.
I was having problems that everytime that I went to harvest leaves, they always seemed to have eggs on them.
Last 2 Monarchs that I saw visit were males.
I'm hoping that the Monarchs that I released will return and lay more eggs. But, with it so dry and hot maybe they've moved on to better climate.
I still have some 12 Queen cats and 25 or so Monarch cats. So, if I have success, I'll lots more butterflies to release.
I've bought lots more Tropical milkweed. Pretty plant.... Am waiting as long as possible to use leaves from those plants in case there are any pesticides used on those plants. I had used a few leaves from the new plants and quickly had about 5 cats die. Could have been the plants, maybe something else, but just a suspected issue because of the timing and how quickly I lost the cats. Other cats that ate those leaves got sick and puked up green stuff, but survived. They did better when I went back to leaves from the older plants.
