NH seacoast monarchs flying still 10/10/11

Monarchs warming up in the sun at 9 am and getting set to fly off and get out of here.
They travel along the coastal route in big numbers. Saw 75 this am in half an hour.
They like to roost in willow trees because the maples and oaks are dropping leaves and the pines are sticky. They stop for a quick drink along the way. see more pix on my facebook photo albums. Denise Brown. here is today:

They also roost in all those oaks, pines, maples, river birch... In Mexico, they mostly roosts in Pines.

They also travel along mountain ranges, over fields, and dales, some of the same routes as migrating birds.
