Late Sighting in Hamburg, NY

Imagine my surprise to look out the window and see 3 big, gorgeous monarchs on my butterfly bush -- sunny, 55 degrees at 11 a.m. in Hamburg (near Buffalo) on October 25th! I've got a few flowers left in the garden -- lantana, zinnia, buddleia, mums -- for them to nectar on. If they're planning on heading South, they'd better get going, since night temps are going to be in the 30's this week with frost expected.
