This year In southern NJ the Monarch sightings have been very far and few between. All the rain has made it difficult for a lot of monarch movement and iam sure has slowed down the breeding process considerably. That being said i must have got lucky a few weeks ago when i got a good day to look for some eggs although i found no new eggs i found 25 cats from 2nd to 4th instar and brought them into the cages . So at least i have 20 or so that will be emerging soon ( If we ever get some sun ) and then hopefully we will get into a more sunny weather pattern and things should pick up from there.
