NW Illinois - not a lot of sightings

Postby branduin » Fri Sep 30, 2011 1:41 pm

I've released 28 Monarchs this season but besides the few that came through laying eggs earlier this summer I haven't seen many others than my own. I have seen singles floating past while driving and my hubby has teased me about "braking for butterflies" while driving.... but if there's no one behind me then that's how I roll!

I brake for Monarchs, too!

I concur that sightings are limited this year.
