Monarch just hatched on Oct. 7 in SE Indiana

While searching for invasive plants in one of my big fields near Aurora, IN (which is close to the Ohio River), I found a monarch clinging to its chrysalis. It didn't spread its wings, so I couldn't tell if male or female. I wished it a safe journey!
